An in-person community event to protect every Maryland community’s right to clean air, clean energy and healthy homes.

About this event

Hosted by Earthjustice’s Right to Zero campaign, Maryland League of Conservation Voters, and Chesapeake Climate Action Network Action Fund, this event at Chesapeake Bay Foundation will bring together advocates and legislators to discuss priorities for Maryland’s next legislative session.

Maryland has established itself as a leader on climate policy and is at a crucial point to move forward on its commitments. A fitting setting for this conversation, Chesapeake Bay Foundation’s Philip Merrill Environmental Center is the world’s first LEED platinum building and one of the world’s most energy-efficient buildings.

Join us, along with other environmental leaders and advocates, on Wednesday, September 21 at 5:30 p.m. to discuss Maryland’s current electrification efforts and the policies we need to implement to achieve our state’s climate goals.

Susan Stevens Miller, senior attorney with the Clean Energy Program at Earthjustice, will moderate the evening. Attendees will have the chance to hear from Maryland legislators, Maryland League of Conservation Voters, Chesapeake Climate Action Network Action Fund, and connect with other local advocates over food and drink.

Speakers to come.
